So its Sunday night and I just got back from a weekend back home in Blue Springs MO. I'm sitting here in the Student Union with my girl. I got home and the weather was crappy and my Dad decided to get the one thing for dinner that I didn't want, Taco Bell. After that the weekend kept getting better with one exception, I missed my girl. Friday night I learned how to play Settlers Of Catan, taught my sister a new card game, played Wii with my friend and my brother, and stayed up till 2 talking with Mom and a friend I brought home from school. Saturday morning I got up at 10:30 ate Apple Jacks for breakfast, played some more cards, played more Wii while Dad and sister went to the store, switched to playing PS2, ate a bologna sandwich for lunch, played more PS2, went to Vintage Stock with Dad when he got home, played more video games, for dinner I had; homemade fried chicken, mashed potatoes from scratch, corn, and Dad's Texas style sweet biscuits (Mom's sweet biscuits only bigger); played more Wii, and went to bed. Sunday I got up at about 9, got dressed and ready for church, ate the last of the Apple Jacks, sat down on the couch and dozed off, got up again, went to church, went back home, built a fire, at lunch consisting of; grilled pork tenderloins, home fried potatoes, and cream corn. After that my friend and I put our stuff in the family van, everybody piled in and we left for Bolivar. The drive back home to school started off at the Quick Trip. Once we got on the road we played a game called See My Cow, if you want details ask. After awhile though, I fell asleep. I woke up to my friend yelling stop from the back seat to the front, I was sitting right next to him. We were at a Bullseye gas station in Clinton MO and apparently Dad had just backed into the newer mini-van behind us. Granted the gas pumps are way to close to the building so any body who parks next to the building can only get out unscathed if there is nobody behind them and Dad was only driving about .5 mph. So the only thing that happened was Dad pushed the other van a little bit. After that little fiasco I went back to sleep an didn't wake up until I heard my sister get excited about passing my girlfriend's grandparents' house on the way in to Bolivar. And so 2 hours passed in what seemed like 20 minutes.
Alright that was a great weekend but Sunday night was the highlight. By the time we got to Bolivar it was dinner time, so as quickly as I could, I ran my things up to my room and came back down. When I got back outside my girlfriend was there with my family and my friend had went back to his dorm. We exchanged hugs and I love yous then told my family good bye. We at dinner at Mellers Dinning Commons and went back to my girlfriends dorm. I guess it would be better if I told you her name. It's Lizzie, I'll leave it at that just to keep things more anonymous. Anyway after we spent a few minutes at her dorm we went to Wal-Mart and she got some chips. then we went to Dollar General and got some energy drinks. After we left Dollar General we decided to go to Dunagan Park in town. By this time it was about 7 so we found a place to park then sat and talked. She came over to my side of the car an leaned on me. Some ducks and geese came over to the car and we through chips out the window to them. After a while she turned to me and hugged me, I wrapped my ams around her and held her close whispering in her ear "I love you beautiful." "I love you too handsome," she whispered into mine then she fell asleep as I told her how thankful I am for her. Then I turned to God and prayed, thanking him for her and asking for the strength to protect her. That was the highlight of my weekend.
Blog atcha later.
